World Vegan Vision hosts "Vegan Thanksgiving"

To advocate for the adoption of veganism as a sustainable lifestyle and to embrace compassion, the World Vegan Vision organized an event that gathered experts, enthusiasts, and vegan advocates earlier this week.

Chief guest Satish Karndikar graced the event and lauded  the efforts of World Vegan Vision. He was joined by Padma Shri recipient Dr. Sudhir Parikh and other special guests including former water commissioner of California Ashok Bhatt, socialist Pam Kwatra, president Senior Friends of NJ Mahendra Shah, Rasesh Shah VP and director, Dinesh Pandya from the Senior Citizen Association of Hudson County, Save the Farmer director Mahesh Wani, and others.

 

Speaking at the event, Dr. Kalindi Bakshi, the president of the World Vegan New Jersey chapter, elaborated on the health advantages and environmental benefits of veganism. The founder of World Vegan Vision, H.K. Shah, appealed for support in adopting a vegan lifestyle.

The organization recognized the Red Robin Song Animal Sanctuary crew, including Lisa Robinsong, Nirvaan, Peter Ortiz, Noelle Reyes, Sunil Joseph, Amy Beth, Elogata Wandacat, John Di Leonardo, and Juliana Cinone, for their advocacy and commitment to the well-being of animals and the planet.

A vegan spread with items like mashed potato corn chaat, harabhara kebab, sev khamni, baked samosa, chora fali and mathiya, mediterranean platter, methi-mutter malai, tofu tikka, lilva-patra, tadka daal, laccha paratha, thepla, peas pulav, indian assorted sweets, and others were offered to the guests.

Attendees had deep conversations and had chances to network during the event, which allowed them to meet others who shared their interests and learn more about veganism.”These interactions facilitated the exchange of ideas, and experiences, and strengthened the global vegan community,” a release stated.
