North Carolina-based provider of dealer management solutions, VitalEdge Technologies, has appointed Indian Americans Mitesh Shah as chief technology officer (CTO) and Shriram Rajagopal as the chief product officer (CPO), effective immediately.
“Together, they’ll be leading the charge in transforming our technology and product offerings,” the company said in a statement.
Shah, who joins from SAP Labs, brings over 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry. In his previous role as vice president and head of engineering at SAP, he led end-to-end engineering and oversaw technology and innovation portfolios.
Shah’s expertise in ERP solutions, technology platforms, and cloud transformation will be crucial as he takes on the responsibility of driving VitalEdge’s technology vision, a company statement said. His role will involve leading software delivery, source code management, and technological innovation to ensure the company remains at the forefront of dealer management solutions.
"I'm incredibly excited to join VitalEdge, a market leader in the equipment distribution technology space with tremendous growth potential," said Shah, adding, “I am eager to collaborate with the talented teams here to deliver forward-thinking technology that propels both VitalEdge and our clients to new heights."
Meanwhile, Rajagopal, who has been with VitalEdge since its inception, has been named to the newly created role of chief product officer (CPO), and will define and execute the company's product vision and roadmap in his capacity.
With over two decades of experience at VitalEdge, Rajagopal has been instrumental in shaping its technology strategy and driving significant growth. He will focus on establishing a robust product management organization and delivering market-leading products that align with client needs.
"I'm excited to lead the charge in shaping our product vision, working closely with Mitesh and company leadership to execute on a technology roadmap that brings innovative, market-leading solutions to our clients. We understand the critical role we play in supporting the dealerships and manufacturers that help our world run every day,” Rajagopal remarked.
