A high-level delegation from the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), headed by CEO Dr Mukesh Aghi, engaged in a productive roundtable discussion with the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.
The delegation, consisting of officials from 35 Fortune American companies, held substantive talks on investment opportunities within the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) and International Financial Services Centre (GIFT IFSC). They also explored potential collaborative ventures with key stakeholders in Gujarat's major industrial, business, IT, and FinTech sectors.
Gujarat CM Patel expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing collaboration between USISPF and Vibrant Gujarat, emphasizing the consistent efforts in leading high-level industry delegations to the summit. Underscoring the significance of the US-India relationship, he also affirmed that the USA remains Gujarat's major export destination. Patel noted that over 120 American companies currently have their base in the state of Gujarat..

Aghi also expressed delight in leading a delegation of American companies to discuss investments in Gujarat. “Our engagement at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit reaffirms our commitment to fostering economic ties and exploring avenues for mutual growth and development between the United States and Gujarat."
