US has made progress identifying foreign interference in its elections, US security adviser says
His comments come as Donald Trump's campaign that they were hacked by Iran recently and also accused UK's Labour Party of foreign interference.

The United States has made progress in identifying foreign interference in its elections, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Oct. 24, less than two weeks before the Nov. 5 presidential vote.
"We are not where we need to be, I acknowledge that," Sullivan said during remarks at an event on artificial intelligence. "I think we've made progress on that, but there's a long way to go to get to where we need to be."
His comments come as Donald Trump's campaign that they were hacked by Iran recently and also accused UK's Labour Party of foreign interference.
“Our adversaries do look at American elections as points to try to influence, to try to undermine confidence in our democracy, to try to put their thumb on the scale,” Sullivan said earlier this year on the issue. “We are clear eyed about that. And we are doing a lot to push back against it".
