TiffinStash expands to U.S.,bringing Indian meals to Silicon Valley
The platform aims to offer freshly prepared, authentic Indian home-style meals delivered to the South Asian community in San Jose.

TiffinStash, a Toronto-based marketplace known for connecting customers with trusted tiffin sellers, is set to expand to San Jose, California, on February 1, 2025. The platform will offer freshly prepared, authentic home-style meals delivered directly to the doorsteps of the South Asian community in the Silicon Valley region.
The menu will feature a diverse range of Indian cuisines, such as Punjabi, Gujarati, South Indian, Jain, and Marathi, catering to various regional preferences. Customers will be able to subscribe to flexible meal plans, including trial orders or weekly and monthly subscriptions.
San Jose’s culturally rich South Asian community has seen increasing demand for home-style meals, but local sellers typically rely on pick-up orders. TiffinStash seeks to meet this demand by offering a delivery service that ensures customers can enjoy their favorite meals without leaving home or office. With options to skip deliveries, switch sellers, or add items for next-day delivery, TiffinStash aims to provide maximum convenience to busy professionals and families, a news release stated.
According to the release, the Toronto-based platform, which has garnered significant success with over 60 tiffin sellers and a 4.2-star Google rating, is excited to bring its services to the Bay Area. Krish Shah, CEO and founder of TiffinStash, said, “San Jose is the ideal starting point for our first American expansion, with its dynamic South Asian community that we’re excited to serve by providing access to a wide network of licensed local tiffin services.”
TiffinStash has been serving the Greater Toronto Area since 2021, providing flexible, daily meal deliveries and catering services for events and large gatherings. The platform is now inviting local tiffin sellers in San Jose to list their services on TiffinStash here. Services in additional U.S. cities will be announced soon, the firm said.
