Originally from Budgam, about 10 miles away from Srinagar, Razdan’s parents moved to Delhi seeking refuge after a massive Qabaili raid in 1947 led to unrest in Kashmir. While living in tents in Purana Qila, Indraprastha, Razdan’s father, who had earned a MA & a law degree, was determined to contribute.
