SRLC USA takes part in White House Diwali celebrations

The celebrations began with a contemporary rendition of the Navkar Mantra

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care USA (SRLC USA) participated in a Diwali event at the White House earlier this month. The event attended by Indian-American White House officials Vinay Reddy, President Biden's Director of Speechwriting, and Gautam Raghavan, Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Presidential Personnel. 

The celebrations began with a contemporary rendition of the Navkar Mantra, one of the most ancient mantras still in use today. This was followed by speeches and a formal Diya (lamp) lighting ceremony.  Haresh Shah, president of Federation of Jain Associations in North America, (JAINA) a long-standing collaborator, and Nissim Reuben, an ardent supporter of SRLC also graced the event.

Diwali, the festival of lights, held at the White House, became a symbol of cultural fusion and shared values of compassion and goodwill, central to SRLC’s mission, “ the organization said in a statement.
