Shreya Prakash, the Indian co-founder and CEO of FlexiBees, has been named one of the top 10 female entrepreneurs and a finalist for the prestigious Aurora Tech Award 2025. This global award celebrates women-led technology startups that are making a significant impact.
FlexiBees is a flexible talent platform that connects businesses with skilled women professionals. It focuses on providing vetted, high-quality talent to help companies solve workforce challenges while promoting gender inclusivity.
Sharing the news of the nomination, Prakash shared on LinkedIn, "Really, really happy to share that FlexiBees is among the top 10 finalists for the Aurora Tech Award! Coming this far, chosen from among 2,018 applications from 116 countries, it feels like nothing else. Let's change the game, let's change the way work is done, let's create scaled avenues for women to have amazing careers! Thanks much, Isabella Ghassemi-Smith and the entire team. And of course, congratulations to everyone in Team FlexiBees."
Prakash’s recognition comes as part of a wider effort to highlight visionary female entrepreneurs who are reshaping industries across agrotech, fintech, and beyond.
The Aurora Tech Award 2025 competition attracted 2,018 founders from 116 countries, with only 10 women making it to the final stage—less than 0.5 percent of all applicants. The finalists, including Prakash, will pitch their companies live in Cairo on Apr.12, with the winners receiving capital, credibility, and connections to scale their businesses.
