Response to article on Divya Chaturvedi
I was intrigued to read about Divya Chaturvedi being named Executive Director of the Elizabeth Freeman Center (Issue August 31). Located in Massachusetts, the Elizabeth Freeman Center is a crucial organization dedicated to supporting victims of domestic and sexual abuse. The appointment of Divya Chaturvedi as Executive Director is a significant development and represents a positive moment for the Indian community.
In recent months, we’ve seen many Indian Americans taking on important roles in various organizations, demonstrating that Indians can excel in any position. Today, with sexual abuse becoming a global issue, Divya Chaturvedi's leadership is particularly noteworthy.
Kudos to Divya Chaturvedi for this achievement!
