‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ star cast

Allu Arjun, one of the highest-paid actors in the Indian film industry, will reprise his titular role in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. In 2023, he won the National Award for Best Actor for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

The first installment of the movie featured Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli. She will also reprise the role in the sequel. She recently made her Bollywood debut in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s smash-hit ‘Animal’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

Fahadh Faasil, who was seen in the role of SP Bhanwar Singh, will be seen in the sequel too, with Bandreddi Sukumar returning as director.

Allu Arjun’s look in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ poster

Allu Arjun shared the poster of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on his social media in April 2023. It attracted a lot of attention due to Pushpa Raj’s androgynous look. The character was seen sporting blue body paint all over, with red paint on the forehead, lipstick, a garland of flowers, necklaces, nose pins, earrings, and bangles, along with a gun in hand.

The makeup and ‘Trishulas’ in the poster’s background had fans speculating that his look was styled after Goddess Kali. However, the film’s team reportedly revealed that the actor is dressed as the deity Gangamma Thalli, who is worshipped during the festival of Jataras held in Tirupati every May.
