PM Modi speaks to Netanyahu amid Israel-Hamas war

In a show of unwavering support and solidarity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. The conversation centered on the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas that has left over 1,600 dead and thousands of others wounded.
During the phone call, PM Modi expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy for the victims and their families affected by the heinous acts of terrorism. “People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour. India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” he stressed.
He also reiterated India's unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He underlined the importance of international cooperation in combating this global menace, emphasizing that terrorism knows no borders and requires a united front to address.
Expressing concerns about the safety and well-being of Indians stranded in Israel, PM Modi asked for reassurance from his Israeli counterpart. In response, PM Netanyahu offered his full cooperation and support. The two leaders agreed to remain in constant touch, indicating strong bilateral ties between India and Israel.
