The aircraft involved in the incident was a 45-year-old Dassault Falcon 10 with serial number 128, according to Flightradar24, a Swedish internet-based service specializing in real-time aircraft flight tracking.
The tracking of the aircraft was limited due to its ModeS-transponder with a Russian registration, which restricted the monitoring.
“We are following media reports of an aircraft accident in a mountainous area in Afghanistan. The aircraft involved is a 45-year-old Dassault Falcon 10 with serial number 128. It was using a Moroccan transponder code (020087 / CN-TKN) but the call sign 09011 indicates a Russian registration (RA-09011),” Flightradar24 posted on X.
