Indian diplomatic missions around the world rallied the diaspora to host large-scale yoga sessions in honor of International Yoga Day, 2024, with the theme "Yoga for self and society"
The Consulate General of India celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, drawing a large number of yoga enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. In collaboration with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, SRMD, and the Hindu Council, the Consulate also held a celebration at Paramatta Square.

Additionally, a yoga session was organized by the Hindu Council of Australia, with support from India High Commission at Canberra, on the lawns of the Federal Parliament in Canberra. Yoga experts led an invigorating session of asanas and breathing exercises for the gathered yoga enthusiasts.
The 10th International Day of Yoga was celebrated at the High Commission with members of the Indian community, Kiwi friends, and representatives from various yoga institutes. The United Nations Association New Zealand also celebrated International Day of Yoga 2024 in collaboration with the High Commission.

The yoga day celebrations, organized in collaboration with Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, NZ, highlighted the importance of holistic learning by showcasing kids practicing yoga in schools.
The Indian Embassy in the US organized a yoga session in Washington ahead of International Yoga Day. The Indian Embassy in New York celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga at the iconic Times Square, NYC. The day-long Solstice celebration featured seven yoga sessions, with around 10,000 participants from various nationalities, demonstrating the city's widespread enthusiasm for yoga.
Consul General Binaya Pradhan greeted the participants, highlighting the benefits of yoga for both physical health and spiritual well-being, and its role in promoting harmony with nature. The International Yoga Day, 2024 was also celebrated by Indian embassy in the US at the picturesque and serene Wharf in Washington, with various community organizations participating enthusiastically in the yoga and meditation sessions.

The High Commission of India in the United Kingdom organized a yoga event at Trafalgar Square in London. The HCI also invited the Deaf Indian Cricket Team, who were in England for the T20 series.
Members of Sahaja Yoga embraced the wellness of yoga and meditation to commemorate International Yoga Day, 2024 at the iconic Museum of The Future in Dubai. In the lead-up, yoga enthusiasts from Aryic Yoga, Dubai, conducted a special #yoga session this morning at the iconic Dubai Frame.
The Indian Embassy in Beijing organized a yoga class at Beijing Morning Star School, led by the Embassy’s Cultural Teacher (Yoga), Lokesh Sharma. Over 45 students participated, practicing various yoga poses to improve body flexibility and enhance concentration.
The High Commission of India organized vibrant International Day of Yoga celebrations at Gardens by the Bay. The event was graced by Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Health,as Guest of Honour.
