Indian multinational firm, Persistent Systems, a global leader in digital engineering and enterprise modernization, has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The partnership is aimed at expediting the innovation and development of generative AI solutions for clients. As a long-standing AWS partner, Persistent has a history of early-scale adoption of generative AI across various industry verticals, leveraging services such as Amazon CodeWhisperer and Amazon Bedrock, a company statement revealed.
Amazon CodeWhisperer offers AI-powered code recommendations in multiple integrated development environments (IDEs), while Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service enabling access to foundation models (FMs) from leading AI companies through an API to build and scale generative AI applications.
The strategic collaboration with AWS positions Persistent Systems to enhance its services clients embracing generative AI. This partnership will also grant Persistent additional resources from AWS for developing proofs of concept, enabling clients to identify tangible business outcomes from generative AI.
The collaboration aims to facilitate use case discovery and the rapid deployment of solutions, supported by additional go-to-market funds from AWS. A significant advantage for joint clients is the continued early access to AWS's generative AI services, fostering innovation, reducing time-to-market, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Rajiv Sodhi, the senior vice president of Hyperscaler Business & Strategic Alliances at Persistent, said, "Enterprises across industries are looking to tap into the transformative potential of generative AI to reimagine, redefine, and rethink their business models for improved customer experiences and business growth.”
“Combined with our newly acquired AWS Migration Competency status and our SCA, AWS will help us scale generative AI adoption among our clients so they can identify and implement use cases where this technology can have a real impact. We remain committed to helping clients reach their technology goals by leveraging the agility, breadth of services, and rapid innovation that AWS provides,” Sodhi added.
"We are delighted to be working with Persistent to help our customers accelerate growth, enable business transformation, and enhance their digital experience. Together, we aim to redefine what's possible with generative AI, setting new standards for efficiency, innovation, and technological advancements,” said Chris Sullivan, the vice president of Worldwide System Integrator Partners at AWS.
