A museum dedicated to revered Indian leader and advocate of non-violence, Mahatma Gandhi, will soon be established in New York City as city officials met with interested stakeholders to discuss the project on March 15.

The virtual meeting between the Gandhian Society and New York City (NYC) officials builds on their first meeting in December of 2023 when a potential Gandhi Museum in NYC was discussed.

The museum will be part of the Aditya Birla Group’s (ABG) “Eternal Gandhi Project,” that is focused on establishing museums worldwide to showcase the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.
