In view of the elections across the United States, a Political Action Committee (PAC) dedicated to empowering communities of color and fostering systemic change was launched recently.

Called “The Future – Today & Tomorrow”, the PAC endorsed seven trailblazing candidates for various local and national offices to mark its official launch.
The endorsed congressional candidates include Michigan Board of Education president Dr. Pamela Pugh, Michigan Board of Education co-vice president

Tiffany Tilley, Detroit City Councilwoman At Large Mary Waters, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and Terris Todd from Virginia.
Additionally the PAC also endorsed local candidates —Senita Lenear for Mayor of Grand Rapids and Donna McLeod for Gwinnett County Chair.

“Dedicated to fostering equity and justice, The Future – Today & Tomorrow backs candidates who champion equity, health & safety, and freedom,” a statement from the PAC said.

“From local trailblazers like Senita Lenear for Mayor of Grand Rapids to national figures like Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, each endorsed candidate embodies the commitment to transformative progress,” the statement added.

The PAC also aims to raise at least $5 million this election cycle to drive significant change across the political landscape. According to the statement, the fundraising goal underscores “the PAC’s commitment to empowering these visionary leaders, ensuring that the voices of underserved communities are heard and represented.”

“Our endorsements reflect our dedication to fostering a political landscape where diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just ideals but realities,” said Eric Foster, co-founder of The Future – Today & Tomorrow Super PAC. “We believe that these candidates embody the values and vision necessary to propel our communities and our country forward.”
