Narender G. Reddy, a businessman from Johns Creek, has advanced to the general elections and will face incumbent Democrat Michelle Au for a seat in Georgia’s House of Representatives representing District 50 that encompasses the majority of Johns Creek and a section of Alpharetta.

With no other Republican contenders, Reddy was uncontested in the Primary. Sharing the news on his social media, he wrote, “I’m very pleased that officially I became the Republican Party nominee to run for State House District 50 and will not be having any Republican primary opponent.  My sincere thanks to the Republican party members & leadership for your trust in me.  United we are and will win the election in November 2024.”

Reddy immigrated from India to America four decades ago to achieve his American Dream. He settled in Georgia and started a business in commercial real estate. Reddy also co-founded Quantum National Bank, the first Indian-American owned bank.

During his 18-year tenure on the Board of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA), Reddy emerged as a leading voice on transportation issues.

Inspired by Ronald Reagan he joined the Republican party in 1991 and served under three Republican governors. He has served on the finance committees of Presidential, Senatorial, Congressional, and Gubernatorial candidates as well as serving as a delegate in multiple Republican National Conventions.

If elected, Reddy aims to address critical infrastructure needs, slash income tax, stop impractical spending, make Georgia business friendly and alleviate traffic congestion in the area.

“We need more job creators and less career politicians if we want to continue our economic growth. I will work every day to make it easier to own and operate businesses in Georgia because I know what it takes,” he emphasized, aiming to foster and enhance business opportunities in Georgia.
