Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and X (previously Twitter), has spoken highly of Indian American US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.  Musk emphasized, "He is a very promising candidate," while reposting an interview Ramaswamy gave to former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson on X.

Musk’s comment comes after the 37-year-old Republican recently called him out for meeting with Chinese Ministers. Ramaswamy accused China of using American business leaders as pawns to further their agenda. He denounced China as the biggest threat to the United States.

A report by NDTV mentioned that Elon Musk, who met China's Foreign Minister during the former's visit to the country, had announced expanding his business in the country while appreciating China's vitality and promise.

"It is deeply concerning that Elon Musk met with China's foreign minister yesterday to oppose decoupling and referred to the US and Communist China as conjoined twins. Tesla's VP in China reposted that statement on Weibo in China, but curiously not here in the US," the Presidential candidate had said.

During the interview with Fox News, Ramaswamy stated, "Xi Jinping is the dictator and China is the top threat that the United States faces. I think I am the clearest candidate in declaring a clear path in declaring economic independence from China. That would be the first step in our policy."

Ramaswamy, who was born on August 9, 1985, and raised in Cincinnati as the son of Indian immigrants, is a biotech entrepreneur and author. He graduated with a degree in biology from Harvard College and earned a J.D. from Yale Law School. He joins two other Indian Americans, Nikki Haley and Hirsh Vardhan Singh, in challenging former President Donald Trump from within the Republican Party (GOP).
