Mindy Kaling shares glimpse of newborn daughter
The mom of three shared how she and her children celebrated Fourth of July.

Indian-American actress and producer, Mindy Kaling, known for her work on “The Office” and “The Mindy Project”, posted the first glimpses of her newborn daughter Anne on Instagram.
Kaling posted a series of photos sharing adorable moments with her children—daughter Katherine, whom she welcomed in 2017, her son Spencer, whom she welcomed in 2020, and Anne, as they celebrated the Fourth of July together.
One image revealed a partial view of baby Anne's while another slide in the post features a video of Anne’s little hand grabbing her mom’s finger as they sit on the beach. Kaling captioned the post, “A sandy/salty skin/no makeup/freezing cold perfect waves/lots of sunscreen/frosting/outside for hours kind of Independence Day.”
Kaling first announced the birth of her third child on June 24, which coincides with her own birthday. In the Instagram post, she shared several pictures: one featuring all her children, another showcasing her baby bump, and a candid shot with her eldest kids. She expressed her joy, noting that Anne, born in late February 2024, was the best birthday gift she could have imagined.
Reflecting on motherhood, Kaling wrote about the joy her children bring to her life, especially during challenging times. She expressed gratitude for being able to expand her family on her own terms and concluded her message by thanking everyone for the birthday wishes.
