The series follows Isla Gordon, a woman who is appointed head of a famous professional basketball franchise after her brother resigns. She is the only sister in a family of brothers and is often overlooked.
Isla must prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the sports community that she was the right choice for the job, especially in the male-dominated world of sports. The series explores her ambition and determination in the sports world.
Sandy Gordon, the chief financial officer of the Waves, is a hopelessly unathletic and bad sports player who feels alienated by his family. He works to return the franchise to greatness and make it profitable. Ness Gordon, the emotionally sensitive general manager, is a former player who yearns for greatness in the front office to make up for his unremarkable career on the court and impress his siblings.
Brenda Song will portray Ali Lee, Waves' intimidating chief of staff. She understands the Gordon family's intricate politics, having known Isla since they shared a dorm room in college.
The release date for the series hasn’t been announced by the OTT platform yet.
