Indian American scientist and plant-powered influencer, Kanchan Koya, is among the women leading MegaFood's new ambassador platform, the MegaWell Collective.

The newly launched initiative seeks to address health challenges faced by people from all walks of life and promote wellness throughout various stages of life.

Koya holds a Ph.D. in Biomedicine from Harvard University and combines her scientific background with a focus on culinary arts. She is the author of the cookbook "Spice Spice Baby" and hosts the "Radical Vitality" podcast.

Through her platform, Spice Spice Baby, Koya highlights the health benefits of spices and encourages their use in everyday cooking. With training from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, she also works as a health coach, advising clients on science-based food and lifestyle changes.

"Since my first introduction to the brand three years ago, I've admired MegaFood for providing supplements that are plant-powered. The ingredients we put into our bodies, whether it's from food or supplements, greatly impact our daily lives," says Koya.

"I'm honored to be a part of this new platform and work alongside these accomplished women. Together, we can empower our communities to live healthier lives."

MegaFood, known for its plant-powered vitamins and minerals, is leveraging over 50 years of scientific expertise to support this initiative. As a Certified B Corporation and 1 percent for the Planet member, MegaFood emphasizes sustainability in its operations.

The MegaWell Collective includes four women, each recognized for their expertise in different fields. They will serve as sources of advice for those seeking to improve their health, offering tips on healthy lifestyles, preventative measures, and self-care practices.

"At MegaFood, we prioritize the health of people and the planet. Through the MegaWell Collective, we aim to educate on important health challenges and provide science-backed advice," says Matt Smith, VP of Marketing at MegaFood. "We will use their diverse voices to address topics such as women's health, plant-powered nutrition, climate and sustainability concerns, and highlight supplements that support various health concerns."
