Law firm Scali Rasmussen’s principal Jasmin Bhandari has been nominated for the annual ‘Inspirational Women Awards’ by the Los Angeles Times.
The recognition highlights Bhandari’s exceptional leadership and contributions to the field of employment law, a release by the firm said.
Managing shareholder Christian Scali lauded Bhandari’s achievement, stating, “Jasmin’s selection for the Inspirational Women Awards is a reflection of her unwavering commitment and proficiency in employment law.”

Specializing in labor and employment law, Bhandari offers strategic advice to clients on compliance with intricate employment laws, including navigating complex pay structures.
Her expertise extends to representing businesses in various disputes and defending against wage and hour class actions and PAGA lawsuits, the release added.
Bhandari is actively involved in litigation and arbitration employment disputes, covering a range of issues such as FEHA discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims. She also represents employers in matters before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the workers’ compensation appeals board, and other administrative agencies.
Additionally, Bhandari plays a crucial role in drafting handbooks and policies, conducting sexual harassment prevention training, performing HR audits, and counseling employers on best practices and procedures related to discipline, separation, and leave of absence.
A USC Gould School of Law graduate and a Law Review member, Bhandari has also been recognized by Lawdragon as a leader of the next generation and designated as a ‘Woman of Influence’ by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
