Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, held the top position in the Global Leader Approval Rating by Morning Consult. According to their latest data, Modi's approval rating stood at 76 percent.
Andrés Manuel López Obrador of Mexico with 66 percent approval rating, Switzerland President Alain Berset with 58 percent, and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio with 49 percent followed the Indian leader on the list. Australian PM Anthony Albanese stood at the fifth position, while the American President Joe Biden stood in the eighth position.
The ratings tracker provided a preview of world leaders' standing in the eyes of their constituents. For the period from November 29 to December 5, 2023, the approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with sample sizes varying by nation.
In terms of disapproval ratings, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador had 29 percent and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had 18 percent United States President Joe Biden secured the seventh position with a 40% approval rating.
