He revealed that his connection with India dates back to his childhood days when his father pursued studies at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi. The creator further disclosed that his father's involvement in the trade of Mithila painting in Patna led him to spend considerable time in the capital city of Bihar.
“I still can’t believe this photo is real. Going from being a random guy in my garage filming YouTube videos to getting the chance to meet the Prime Minister @narendramodi ji and receive the first ever international creator award. Thank you so much for the opportunity, it was an honor,” he posted on Instagram.
The 'Best International Creator' award not only acknowledges Hicks' linguistic prowess and creative talents, but also emphasizes the global impact of digital content creation. The 'Best International Creator' award was also bestowed upon Kili Paul and Cassandra Mae Spittmann.
