Indian origin CEO promises free visas if Neeraj Chopra wins gold at Paris Olympics

Indian origin CEO of the visa application startup Atlys, Mohak Nahta has made a bold promise that has caught the attention of social media users. 

Nahta, who leads the San Francisco-based company with offices in Mumbai and Gurugram, announced that he will offer free visas to all Atlys users for one day if Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra secures a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Making the announcement on LinkedIn, Nahta said, "I will personally send a free visa to everyone if Neeraj Chopra wins gold at the Olympics. Let’s go, India," Nahta wrote in his initial post. He later clarified the details, stating that the offer would cover visas for all countries and would be available to users for one day if Chopra wins.

Neeraj Chopra, who won India’s first-ever Olympic gold in athletics at the Tokyo 2020 Games, is widely expected to perform strongly in Paris, raising hopes for a repeat of his historic victory. The javelin events at the Paris 2024 Olympics are scheduled for August 8 and 10.
