Indian Consular camp in Marlborough attracts 500 participants

Apart from consular services, the camp featured blood donation and voter registration kiosks

Consul General of India, New York in partnership with the Foundation of Indian Americans (FIA) New England, and Vfs Global recently hosted an Indian Consular Camp at 25th Union Street, Marlborough, MA.

The event, which drew the participation of over 500 Indian American families, featured several activities, including voter registration and blood donation registration, led by Baljinder Singh, a member of the Kraft family blood donation team.

Philanthropists Subu Kota, Kaushik Patel, and Sandeep Asija presented a token of appreciation to the Consul Officers and VFS Officers for their exemplary service to the community, highlighting the significance of their work. 

The Foundation of Indian Americans (FIA) New England, under the leadership of president Abhishek Singh, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Consul General of India, New York, and the entire team.

“The Indian Consular Camp 2023 proved to be a heartwarming success, demonstrating the strength and unity of the Indian American community in New England. It was an event that not only offered essential services but also brought people together and fostered a sense of belonging,” FIA NE said in a statement.
