Former South Carolina Governor and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley congratulated Trump, emphasizing the need for national unity. In a post on X, Haley stated, “The American people have spoken. Congratulations to President Trump on a strong win. Now, it’s time for the American people to come together, pray for our country, and start the process of a peaceful transition. He campaigned primarily on issues like the economy and immigration, which obviously resonated with the country at large.
Indian American venture capitalist Asha Jadeja Motwani also shared her excitement about Trump's win, predicting significant economic growth under his leadership. “Watch our economy become even more of a rocketship!!. Musk will clean up the regulatory state like no one before,” she said on X.
Arvind Ganti saw Trump’s victory as an opportunity to reform immigration policies. “Spot on! Trump has the chance to overhaul the immigration system fully and let talented folks in as a priority; eliminate the green card backlog of Indians; eliminate illegal immigration; fix the Dreamer/DACA/asylum process and focus on making legal immigration straightforward… big legacy opportunity!” Ganti commented on X.
