Key Executives (formerly C-Suite Spotlight) has revealed the Top 25 CEOs of Massachusetts for 2023. Among this elite group of chief executive officers, three individuals of Indian origin namely Niraj Shah, Prahlad Singh, and Jonathan Ram have been recognised.
Niraj Shah, alongside Steve Conine, co-founded Wayfair in 2002 and swiftly expanded the business to become the leading online retailer in the United States for home furnishings, housewares, and home improvement products. The company achieved significant success, boasting a remarkable $6.8 billion in net revenue for 2018.
Before founding Wayfair, Shah held several key roles in the business world. He served as the CEO and co-founder of Simplify Mobile, took on the role of entrepreneur-in-residence at Greylock Partners, served as the COO and a board member of iXL, and was the CEO and co-founder of Spinners.
Prahlad Singh currently holds the position of president and CEO at Revvity. He manages the company's 11,000 employees, who are committed to providing top-notch solutions and services to a diverse array of organizations.
Before joining PerkinElmer in 2014, Singh served as the general manager of GE Healthcare's Women’s Health business. His professional journey also includes occupying senior executive roles in strategy, business development, and mergers and acquisitions at both GE Healthcare and Philips Healthcare.
Jonathan Ram, in his role as the CEO of Clarks, oversees a company with a long and storied history spanning nearly two centuries. As the preeminent shoe brand in the UK, Clarks has not only maintained its prominence but has also expanded its impact globally.
Before Clarks, he was group president, Global Activewear at HanesBrands, where he led the growth of the global activewear business across multiple labels and businesses. Prior to that he served he spent 16 years at New Balance.
