The Indian American Impact Fund expressed gratitude for the significant South Asian American voter participation in the 2024 election, after Kamala Devi Harris's historic presidential run.
Executive director of Indian American Impact Fund Chintan Patel remarked on the community's exceptional engagement, noting the thousands of first-time donors, volunteers, and advocates supporting Harris's campaign.
He said, “While the outcome of this election is a devastating setback—not only in terms of our values but also for the millions of women and South Asian Americans who hoped to see themselves reflected in our next president—we are deeply proud of the powerful movement that Vice President Kamala Devi Harris inspired and our community built together.
Thank you, @KamalaHarris, for inspiring a movement and being the light that gives us the strength to continue the fight. The country is forever indebted.

“Impact’s campaign was always about more than one election; it was about building an enduring movement that amplifies South Asian American voices and shows the strength of our commitment to democracy,” mentioned Patel.
He further added that the energy, passion, and dedication that have been cultivated will continue to persevere. Impact remains committed to channeling this momentum into advancing our community’s priorities and fighting back against MAGA extremism wherever it emerges.
The organization's aim is “Our resolve is stronger than ever. The groundwork we’ve laid is just the beginning, and we will carry this energy forward in our ongoing fight for an America that upholds the values of equity, justice, and unity. We are not going back.”
Impact’s outreach program engaged over 182,000 South Asian voters in key battleground states through canvassing, phone banking, mail, and WhatsApp. Their largest ad and influencer campaign further reached hundreds of thousands of South Asian and AAPI voters on TV, digital, and radio, connecting with voters across multiple platforms.
