India has witnessed tremendous changes in the past decade, to the point where it is now on "everyone's radar," according to Bharat Patel, chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), which has more than 80 percent Gujarati members.
While the changes have taken place over a period of ten years, Patel believes that the world only really took notice of India when its economy surpassed that of the United Kingdom, in terms of size, making it the fifth largest in the world.
