US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti praised India's progress and development during an event titled "Impact and Innovation: 25 years of Making Development a Ground Reality" organized by IPE Global in Delhi. He highlighted India's advancements and remarked that leading the US mission in India was a significant honor. Garcetti also encouraged others to witness India's promising future firsthand.

"If you want to see the future, come to India. If you want to feel the future, come to India. If you want to work on the future, come to India. I have the great privilege of being able to do that every single day as the leader of the US Mission," he said at the event.

“We now feel that it is do desh, ek dil (two nations, one heart). When we come together it is no longer two different systems but one vision,” Garcetti said on the India-US partnership.

The US ambassador said in a post on X, “Delighted to be part of the celebration marking the 25th anniversary of @IPEGlobal. I’m inspired by the past and energized for the future, recognizing the transformative impacts we can achieve when we work together. Here’s to 25 years of innovation, collaboration, and progress!”

During a separate lecture titled 'The Most Consequential Relationship of the Century: Indo-American Ties' at OP Jindal Global University in Sonipat, Garcetti characterized the relationship between the US and India as not just additive, but multiplicative, stressing the significance of the partnership between the world's two largest democracies. He highlighted the vibrant exchange in education and trade, as well as the collaborative efforts towards envisioning a green energy future.

“Thank you to OP Jindal for the incredibly warm welcome at your impressive campus, @OPJUniversity. It's truly inspiring to see how you're excelling in making higher education more international. Your initiatives to bring students and scholars from the U.S. and India together are building important bridges that take our countries forward into a brighter shared future,” Garcetti said on X.

The US ambassador's remarks follow a statement by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, who emphasized the unprecedented level of partnership between India and the US. Sullivan highlighted the collaboration in various domains, including technology, signaling the deepening ties between the two countries.
