IALI welcomes new leadership in Hicksville induction ceremony

In a remarkable display of community support, the India Association of Long Island (IALI) conducted an induction ceremony for its freshly elected executive council recently at the Hicksville Community Center in Hicksville, New York. Despite challenging weather conditions, the event garnered a robust attendance, underscoring the community's solidarity.

The ceremony commenced with the rendition of both the USA and India national anthems, setting the tone for a significant occasion. The election results were then unveiled, introducing the members of the new executive committee. President Pradeep Tandon, at the helm of the committee, and his team were officially sworn in by the Honorable Jennifer DeSena, Supervisor of the Town of North Hempstead.

Expressing gratitude to the gathered guests, Dr. Neeru Bhambri, Secretary of IALI, conveyed a commitment to serving with unwavering motivation, professionalism, and transparency. The event drew a distinguished audience, including past presidents, elected officials, and representatives from media outlets, underscoring the pivotal role of IALI in the community.
