ZEE5 Global unveiled the trailer for the second season of the crime comedy, ‘Sunflower’. Directed by Navin Gujral, the upcoming season is set to premiere on March 1.

It will be a continuation of the story of a middle-class man living in a housing society named Sunflower in Mumbai. Sunil Grover plays the role of Sonu Singh, while Adah Sharma plays the role of Rosie Mehta. The cast also includes Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chaddha, and Girish Kulkarni.

Picking up from the previous season, police duo DG and Tambe, played by Shorey and Kulkarni, continue their relentless pursuit of Kapoor’s murderer. The new season introduces Sharma as Rosie, inheriting Kapoor’s penthouse and adding a layer of mystery to the case.

Expressing his excitement about the new season, Grover said, “Sunflower Season 2 has more suspense, filled with thrill and laughter, while introducing complex characters. The aim was to keep this season light-hearted while adding that layer of intrigue and mystery.”

Sharma, thrilled to be an addition to the show, added, "Rosie comes to live in Sunflower society and turns everyone's lives upside down. She is on a mission right from the start, claiming to be a bar dancer but revealing her exceptional ability to fool everyone with her innocence.”
