HindiUSA, North America's largest Hindi teaching and promotion organization, celebrated India's 75th Republic Day on January 26, 2024, across the 26 Hindi schools it operates nationwide.
More than 4000 students and 500 volunteers participated in the celebrations to spread the spirit of unity and national pride. The celebrations emphasized the significance of the Republic Day of India.
Edison Hindi School, the largest in the system, saw a remarkable turnout of over 500 participants to celebrate the occasion. Schools in other regions including, Cherry Hill-NJ, Northborough-MA, St Louise-MO, Wilton, and Stanford schools in CT joined the celebrations with patriotic spirit.
The program started with the rendition of the Indian national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana’ along with the US national anthem. Teachers then spoke on the importance of Republic Day, underlining its distinctive significance for the people of India.

Some of the distinguished guests at the events included local Board of Education officials and other dignitaries. They lauded HindiUSA's efforts to bring communities together and highlight India's cultural rich heritage among people of all age groups and communities, a release stated.
