GATeS organises ‘Vana Bhojanam’ in Atlanta

The event saw active participation from prominent leaders of various Telugu organizations, including John’s Creek City Council member Bob Erramilli

To highlight the excitement of outdoor dining, the Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) recently hosted "Vanabhojanam" at Buford Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The event also served to promote Telangana culture in the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding areas. More than 1200 individuals of all ages, from children to grandparents, attended the event.

Traditional Telangana delicacies were masterfully cooked on-site, exhibiting the state's continuing culinary legacy. A culinary feast featuring the luscious flavours of Telangana cuisine was created in the park, a release noted.

President Janardan Pannela and Srinivas Parsa, joined by members of the executive committee and board of directors, extended a cordial welcome to everyone present.  GATeS's esteemed members, founders, and sponsors enthusiastically participated in and enjoyed the festivities.

Following lunch, a spirited game of Bingo was organised along with a range of entertaining children's games. Board of Directors (BOD) member Jyothsna Palakurthi was instrumental in selecting participatory activities for both kids and adults.
