In his message at the summit, Waltz emphasized the growing momentum in bilateral relations, citing developments like the co-production of Apache helicopter fuselages between Boeing and Tata as a key example of successful collaboration. He highlighted that these efforts not only involve existing technologies, such as ship repair, but also emerging fields like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and data center operations.
Reflecting on his experiences, Waltz noted his participation in the 70th anniversary of Indian Independence alongside Representative Ro Khanna, where he witnessed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address at the Red Fort in August. "The momentum is just continuing," Waltz said, referencing Modi’s recent address to the U.S. Congress.
Calling Waltz stressed its significance in maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific. He concluded with a commitment to strengthening ties, stating, "Consider my office and my team an open door to further this relationship as we press forward."
