Entrepreneur and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, recently voiced his concerns about the challenges and delays faced by legal immigrants seeking entry into the United States. In a statement, Musk, who himself is an immigrant, underscored the necessity for a more efficient and simplified process for individuals possessing talent, diligence, and integrity.

Speaking on the platform X, Musk clarified that his apprehensions regarding the influx of illegal immigrants into American cities should not be misconstrued as being "anti-immigrant." He emphasized his firm support for an increased and expedited legal immigration system, contingent upon specific criteria.

Expressing frustration with the current legal immigration framework, Musk labeled it as "unreasonably arduous and painfully sluggish." He noted the sharp contrast between the weak legal immigration process and the relative ease of illegal entry into the country.

Musk's recent remarks come in the wake of his criticism of the benefits and services available to undocumented immigrants in the United States. The tech magnate has been vocal about his concerns regarding the Biden administration's handling of the border crisis, particularly highlighting the economic ramifications of illegal immigration through social media posts.

In a recent series of online comments, Musk spoke about the accessibility of various privileges for undocumented immigrants, including bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver’s licenses, free healthcare in certain states like California and New York, and in-state college tuition. He questioned the rationale behind granting such benefits to illegal immigrants while they evade taxes and civic duties like jury duty.
