Elected officials should provide platform for marginalized communities, says legislator Ranjeev Puri

Indian-American legislator Ranjeev Puri said that “elected officials and candidates should provide a platform for communities that have been marginalized to be able to succeed”, at the Desis Decide summit organized by the Indian American Impact organization.
Puri made the remarks during a panel discussion titled ‘Desis Lead: Running for Office’ alongside Representatives Megan Srinivas and Sophia Anwar. They all focused on the challenges and experiences of running for office.
