DP World, a leading smart logistics provider, has expanded its Beyond Boundaries Initiative to North America, with the goal of increasing access to cricket through innovative supply chain solutions.

The initiative was launched at North Oculus Plaza in Lower Manhattan and attended by DP World's global ambassador and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, former Indian national team coach Ravi Shastri, and DP World chief communications officer Daniel van Otterdijk.

During the event, cricket kits were distributed to grassroots organizations such as the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) and the Commonwealth Cricket League. These groups were identified by the ICC as key in promoting cricket in New York.

Tendulkar emphasized the initiative's importance, stating, "Cricket’s growing patronage across the globe is exciting. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the USA will add further impetus to the adoption and following in this part of the world. DP World’s Beyond Boundaries Initiative in New York is perfectly timed in augmenting the ‘cricketing grassroots’ infrastructure and will help leave a lasting impact."

Daniel van Otterdijk highlighted DP World's commitment, saying, "We are delighted to bring our Beyond Boundaries Initiative to North America for the first time. With the United States co-hosting their first ICC World Cup, it felt like the perfect moment to work with our partners at the ICC to help build foundations at the grassroots level to help the game flourish for years to come."

The Beyond Boundaries Initiative has delivered 2,000 cricket kits across four countries on three continents since its inception in 2023. The initiative is part of DP World's broader effort to leave a lasting legacy through the ICC World Cup.

As a Premier Partner of the ICC, DP World is not only supporting grassroots cricket but also enhancing infrastructure. This includes delivering pitches for the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, where a significant group stage match between India and Pakistan was held.

The Beyond Boundaries Initiative also includes a kits-for-runs pledge, where DP World will donate 10 cricket kits for every 100 runs scored by a team in each match during the T20 World Cup. This initiative will be promoted through in-stadia graphics and broadcast amplification.
