Divya Chakra 2.0 in UAE to celebrate India’s cultural diversity

The event is dedicated to recognizing the achievements of Indian business leaders in UAE

The second edition of Divya Chakra, a cultural event put together to celebrate the spirit of harmony, togetherness, and the cultural diversity of India will be held at the Taj Exotica, Palm Jumeirah on November 25.

The event is organized under the patronage of the Consulate General of India in Dubai. Its first edition was dedicated to celebrating India’s 75th year of independence.

This year, the event will focus on the achievements of Indian business leaders in the UAE, a release stated. The event will feature a lineup of performances, and awards will be presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and prosperity of the Indian diaspora in the UAE.

"Divya Chakra embodies the essence of collaboration and excellence. It is a reflection of the vibrant ties between India and the UAE. As we come together to celebrate our shared cultures, we honour those who contribute to the tapestry of our communities,” said Satish Kumar Sivan, the Consul General of India to Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The event will spotlight the rich cultures of India and the UAE through art exhibits and live cultural shows symbolising the spirit of unity and prosperity. According to the release, high-profile attendees including government dignitaries, businessmen, and cultural icons from both nations are expected to be in attendance.

The inaugural edition of the event included a dance performance by NKD Dance Studio, a musical tribute by Antara Institutions, and a panel discussion where panelists discussed the artistic excellence of India. The then Consul General of India to Dubai Dr Aman Puri presided over the event.
