Celebrating its 40th anniversary, an annual floral exhibition titled ‘Bouquets to Art’ opened to thronging crowds at the De Young Museum in San Francisco on June.4. Inspiration-seeking floral arrangers and enthusiasts took note of the innovative materials and methods used in the making of the floral arrangements.

The floral arrangements were placed in front of the artworks they reflected, the selected art masterpiece they were inspired by.

“This is my favorite one,” enthused a museum-goer as she scrolled through the photos on her iPhone. “It is amazing how the energy of the artwork has been captured by the florist.”
