Connexall, a global provider of clinical communication and workflow automation solutions in the U.S and Canada, has appointed Sandy Saggar as its chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Saggar, who had been serving as interim CEO, is expected to further Connexall’s mission of integrating technology-driven solutions to improve healthcare outcomes, the company said.
"Our Board believes Sandy's history of driving growth and his commitment to innovation and leadership positions him for success in leading our organization forward. Sandy will lead the next evolution of Connexall's strategic planning and drive continuous business growth for the future,” said Michael Tavares, interim chair of the company’s board.
Before joining Connexall in 2020 as senior vice president of innovation and analytics, Saggar served as chief information officer for two major health systems- Halthon Healthcare Services and North York General Hospital, where he was a user of Connexall’s service. “A former Connexall customer and advocate, his experience gives him a unique, customer-first perspective to drive Connexall’s mission forward,” the company said in a statement.
“Connexall is committed to improving the quality of care by making healthcare workflows seamless and intuitive,” Saggar said. “We will continue to push the boundaries of what technology can do to enhance patient and provider experiences.”
Connexall’s platform connects healthcare providers, staff, and medical devices into a single, integrated system, enhancing efficiency, patient care, and staff satisfaction. Under Saggar’s leadership, the company aims to expand its role in developing next-generation “connected hospitals” that leverage data integration and automation.
