Chandigarh University has made history by launching India's inaugural collaborative business management program with Harvard University through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership offers aspiring business students a unique opportunity for international exposure and perspective.

Notably, Chandigarh University students will be evaluated alongside their counterparts at Harvard University and stand a chance to secure placements at leading global firms.

Kristen Maynard, managing director of Business Operations and Strategic Alliances at HBS Online, emphasized that Chandigarh University students will receive an equivalent learning experience to those on Harvard University's campus.

As part of the collaboration, Chandigarh University students will have the opportunity to learn from Harvard University Business School faculty during a semester of their online MBA program. Additionally, they will have access to course materials and educational resources provided by Harvard University faculty.

Students from Chandigarh University will be graded alongside their counterparts at Harvard University and will have the chance to secure placements at leading global firms, thanks to this partnership.

Chandigarh University students will also benefit from exposure to Harvard University's real business case studies, providing them with valuable insights into the complexities of international business management.

“Students of Chandigarh University will be taking the same course which all of the Harvard University students take,” Maynard said. “Before they (Chandigarh University students) start their course of study here, we will be providing them with foundations of business that their further study at Chandigarh University can build on and help them further their business career.”

She continued: “As part of the course, we try to bring a global prospective to the topics that they are looking at. So as they are thinking about financial accounting or business analytics, they are not only thinking about the concepts but how they apply to situations across the world in real businesses with real executives who are making decisions. So I think that global perspective is something that your (Chandigarh University) students will very much enjoy and benefit from it.”
