Sri Guruvayurappan Temple, in partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center, hosted a highly successful blood donation drive on Sep.28, 2024. It received an overwhelming response from the community, with both pre-registered donors and walk-ins filling all available slots.
By the end of the day, a total of 30 units of blood were collected.
The donations were facilitated by MD Anderson's mobile coach, which ensured a safe, efficient, and comfortable experience for all participants. The blood will go on to support critical life-saving treatments for patients in need, underscoring the power of collective action and community involvement.
