Big Band Software, B2B SaaS software holding company, has acquired leading project management platform Workzone. This marks Big Band Software's second major acquisition since its establishment in 2023.
The two companies also appointed Ash Didwania as the CEO of Workzone. Didwania has a proven track record in driving growth and scaling transformative products at various organizations, including startups, scaleups, and Fortune 500 Tech companies.
Previously serving as the chief revenue officer of Resilia, a venture-backed tech-for-good company, he brings over 14 years of go-to-market leadership and tech experience.

Didwania holds an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management and a degree in technology, specializing in computer science engineering. from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in India.
Established in 2002 by Rick Mosenkis and Allan Kalish, Workzone has been a pioneer in online project management solutions. Over the years, the platform evolved into a leading project management software for teams handling complex, multi-step projects.
The company has been committed to assisting customers in simplifying project management processes, providing hands-on customer success and training initiatives. Widely used across various functions, including marketing, operations, human resources, IT, and executive roles, Workzone has a history of innovation and continuous improvement.
Workzone has experienced a strong beginning to 2024, securing a significant partnership with a major hospital group to enhance their business operations. As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the company is set to introduce an upgraded product in Q1 2024. The new product aims to provide contemporary project management experiences while maintaining the exceptional high-touch customer support for which the company is well-known.
