Arvind Kejriwal makes six poll promises from jail
His wife read them at rally organized by the INDIA opposition bloc in Delhi

Ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Sunita Kejriwal, read out six election pledges made by her husband, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi at a mega rally held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on Mar. 31.
At the "Loktantra Bachao" (meaning "save democracy") rally, organized under the banner of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc, prominent figures from the opposition, such as Rahul Gandhi, Farooq Abdullah, and Mallikarjun Kharge, gathered together.
The rally aimed to protect the sanctity of the Constitution and democracy as well as protest the arrest of Kejriwal, who is currently in probe agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody in a case linked to the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.

The six main election promises made by Arvind Kejriwal are:
- 24-hour electricity across the entire country
- Free electricity for the poor throughout the country
- Constructing government schools in every village and neighbourhood
- Establishing Mohalla (community) clinics in every village and neighbourhood
- Ensuring fair prices for crops to farmers as given in the Swaminathan Commission Report
- Granting full statehood to Delhi.
In the letter read out by his wife, Kejriwal called for collective effort to build a new India and asserted that these six promises will be implemented in the first five years by the INDIA alliance if it comes to power. He apologised to the INDIA bloc partners that he did not get to discuss these guarantees with them before announcing them as he was in jail.
“Let us together create a new India, the India of the dreams of 140 crore people, an India where every person will get enough food, every hand will get work, no one will be unemployed, no one will be poor, and no one will be illiterate. Every child will get a good education, whether rich or poor, every sick person will get good treatment, whether rich or poor,” his letter read.
Kejriwal concluded the letter by saying, “I am in good health in jail, I’m full of enthusiasm, this arrest has further strengthened my courage. Your blessings are always with me, God is with me. I will meet you all very soon, Your Arvind.”

Kejri is a GENIOUS! Taxpayer money used as bribes to STAY OUT of JAIL. tells you how dumb the public is. Sure the parties and politicians government and opposition are also corrupt BUT WE NEED TO START CLEAN UP SOMEWHERE. Congress did it to MODI and Shah for the wrong reasons and now we have a CLEANER GOVT. than Congress and Lallu and the likes. Maybe not ideal but a good start. No scandals yet, especially when it comes to the country, the foreign policy is FOR INDIA.
