Ajay Bhutoria meets Kamala Harris at DNC, pledges to mobilize South Asian Vote

Ajay Bhutoria, a distinguished community leader and Deputy National Finance Chair, atteneded the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Convention, which took place at the United Center in Chicago. He personally congratulated Second Gentleman Emhoff and Vice President Harris on their 10th wedding anniversary and the momentous nomination.

"Vice President Harris's journey embodies the true spirit of the American dream," Bhutoria declared, expressing his enthusiasm. "Her dedication to uniting our nation and fostering an opportunity economy resonates deeply with communities across the country, especially within the South Asian diaspora."

During the event, Vice President Harris formally accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States and emphasized her commitment to bringing the country together by creating jobs, lowering costs, and building a robust opportunity economy. She underscored the importance of the upcoming 76-day period leading up to the election, emphasizing the need for a concerted effort to be made in voter outreach and organizing, particularly in battleground states.

Echoing her sentiments, Bhutoria pledged his continued efforts to mobilize voters, with a special focus on engaging the South Asian and Indian American communities. "It is up to all of us now to organize and reach out to voters in key states. The South Asian vote will be the margin of victory in this election, and I am dedicated to ensuring our voices are heard loud and clear," he affirmed.
