We are a global BPO company looking for the Admin. Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will handle various administrative duties including email management, invoice processing, payroll administration, and purchases. The role requires precise calculation based on timesheets for 25 employees, GST filing, and effective communication in Tamil.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Administration:
- Manage and respond to daily email correspondence.
- Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Oversee purchasing activities, including sourcing and ordering office supplies.
Payroll and Timesheet Management:
- Calculate payroll based on timesheets for 25 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process payroll on a regular schedule and address any discrepancies or issues.
Financial and Compliance Tasks:
- Prepare and file GST returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for auditing and compliance purposes.
Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with employees and vendors, providing support and addressing any queries.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure administrative processes align with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, particularly with payroll, invoicing, and office management.
- Strong numerical and calculation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing email correspondence and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
- Ability to speak Tamil fluently to effectively communicate with Tamil-speaking employees and clients.
- Knowledge of GST filing procedures and experience in handling compliance tasks is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
